It is very unique in that it will actually heal a hero's stress, while giving the Miller a modest heal and a short buff for +15% PROT. The Miller also has the rarely-used ability The Harvest, which can only be used if at least one hero has over 50 stress, and the Miller is below 70% health. If it survives for 3 or more turns, it may use The Soil Thaws to revert itself back to a normal Farmhand. It also has a 0-damage attack called Hollow Keening that deals a fair bit of stress and Horror. The Frozen Farmhand will permanently guard the Miller, and disable all guard skills for heroes while it is alive. If a Farmhand is present on the battlefield, the Miller will use Winter's Breath to transform it into a Frozen Farmhand, a unique enemy found only during this battle. The enemies the Miller summons do roll initiatives, and will be able to act as soon as they are summoned. He can also summon various enemies from the Farmstead with The Master Beckons, including Scarecrows, Sleeper's Heralds, and Farmhands, with a cooldown of 7, 5, and 8 turns, respectively. I would have brought MaA, but sadly he couldn't live through the barrage from the Prophet). The Miller has a versatile set of skills, with his most offensive attack being The Reaping, a skill that inflicts heavy AoE damage, especially to heroes in the front. Can those (that have ventured in to the Darkest Dungeon) give me pointers and tips in coming through successfully? I've tried to avoid spoilers in what manner of beasts lurk there, but knowing what supplies to take and which skills to utilize would guarantee (or at least raise the odds) success.Īs it apparently is a boss that I need to kill, I'm thinking of bringing an Arbalest (for sniper shot, and bandage), Occultist (for mark and healing), Houndmaster (for bleed, guard and very solid self-heal) and a Crusader (for first-row damage and tankyness. I've played this game for a long time and it has taught me two things: always be afraid and come well prepared. There are still some bosses to kill but I was thinking of sending a group of hardened men and women into the depths and hopefully down the first boss. I have a pretty solid save going on with most of my roster at lvl6.
